Patience is a means by which unhappiness is overcome and satisfaction, happiness, nirvana and parinirvana attained. How is patience a means by which unhappiness is overcome? Through frustration one feels and believes that one is hindered from overcoming unhappiness and attaining satisfaction, happiness, nirvana and parinirvana. Through patience one realizes that overcoming unhappiness and attaining satisfaction, happiness, nirvana and parinirvana takes time. And through patience one gains the power to overcome unhappiness through waiting. Attaining satisfaction, happiness, nirvana and parinirvana is a gradual process. Waiting for it in patience, calmness and faith is essential. |
